• EARTH'S IMAGINARY LINES

The Earth´s AXIS goes from the Nort Pole to the South Pole.

The EQUATOR divides the Earth into the NORTHERN HEMISPHERE and the SOUTHERN HEMISPHERE.

• EARTH`S MOVEMENTS

The Earth moves in two different ways:

ROTATION is the movement of the Earth on its own axis, The Earth takes 24 hours (1 day) to complete one rotation. This movement causes DAY AND NIGHT.

REVOLUTION is the movement of the Earth around the Sun. The Earth takes 365 days (1 year) to complete one orbit. This movement causes THE SEASONS.
